| The purpose of the consultation is to understand all aspects of the translation project, and to develop a customized strategy to achieve the client's goals, and expectations. |

In conjunction with the client, LLE performs a thorough face-to-face or over the telephone consultation. This evaluation addresses specific areas such as (click on Translation Checklist):

| Proposal |
| Following the initial consultation, a proposal is developed and presented to the client outlining the customized translation process strategy to be employed to manage the document translation project. Within the proposal there will be a free estimate of the total fees involved completing the project. |

| Free Estimate |
| LLE will provide a free estimate within the proposal. This is not a final quote, but rather represents LLE's best estimate of the likely actual costs given the scope of the work as defined by the client. |
| The LLE estimate typically outlines two types of translation: |
Standard Translation -
This type of translation is ideal for in-house purposes (when you quickly need to know what the document says.) The document will be translated by one project manager, and one professional native translator proofreading himself/herself. |
Premium Translation -
This type of translation is employed when the document is to be presented to the public (i.e. letters, marketing materials, manuals, articles, etc…). The translation includes a team of one project manager, one professional native translator and one proofreader. The proofreader checks the document not only for spelling and grammatical mistakes, but also to make certain that the translation conforms to the original in content as well as in form. The proofreader will verify that the terminology used is accurate, that nothing has been omitted and that the translation is consistent. |

| Fee Structure |
| Typically, fees are based on a per word rate. However, we can accommodate situations where a flat fee per project or per page fee may be requested. Fees are negotiable dependent on volume in words. Please contact your LLE Account Manager for details (1.877.405.8764; info@lle-inc.com). |

| Delivery Time |
| Translation delivery time is dependent on volume of words, technical complexity, and translator availability. The estimate will include an approximate delivery timeframe. Any delivery expenses, such as delivery services, will be billed at cost. |
| Rule of thumb: A translator can translate approximately 2,000 words per 8 hour day. |
