1980 - Language instruction unit activated
1985 - Headquarters established in Washington, DC
1985 - Language translation and interpretation unit activated
1991 - LLE incorporated in the State of Virginia
1992 - Telephonic language interpretation unit activated
2000 - Technology Center opened in Winchester, VA

| Operationally, LLE is composed of units through which it efficiently delivers a full range of language services. The Instruction unit employs experienced native speaker instructors who teach languages in a dynamic and professional manner to adult learners. The Translation unit is dedicated to the faithful and accurate communication of our client's written communication. The Interpretation unit focuses on the oral bridge between languages, often involving several interlocutors speaking simultaneously face-to-face or over the telephone. LLE-LINK® is LLE's telephonic interpretation service allowing clients to swiftly connect a non-English speaker with LLE's trained interpreter via conference call. Thanks to the telecommunications link, the speakers may be--and often are--in disparate locations around the world. |
